The study aimed to investigate students' perceptions of undergraduate programs in relation to exit examinations, employing a mixed research design. A total of 145 students participated in the study. Deans, Department Heads, and College Quality Assurance Coordinators were selected based on availability and purposive sampling methods. The study focused on three colleges each with four years program durations, including Colleges of Social Sciences and Humanities (CSSH), Business and Economics (CBE), and Natural and Computational Sciences (CNCS). Two departments were randomly selected from each college, ensuring equal representation. Survey data was analyzed using mean, stepwise regression, and one-way ANOVA, while interview data was directly cited from respondents. Results of the study revealed that students' perceptions on exit exams varied across colleges, with CBE students demonstrating a more positive perception compared to CSSH and CNCS. Stepwise regression analysis identified significant predictor variables, including anxiety, stress, risk of exclusion, and resource scarcity, all of which influenced students' perceptions of exit examinations. Overall, the study found that students generally held negative perceptions of exit exams. It was evident that factors such as anxiety, stress, unknown contents of the exam, risk of exclusion, and resource constraints contributed to the undesirable perceptions. A collaborative approach involving various stakeholders, including Ministry of Education (MoE), educational institutions and departments is necessary to reduce excessive stress and anxiety levels, emphasize the importance of exit examinations, address resource deficiencies, and undertake a nationwide study. MoE need to formulate a well-defined policy concerning students who do not successfully pass their exit exams.

India’s transition to the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita

(BNSS), and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA) in July 2024 marks the most significant

criminal law reform in more than 150 years. Yet, over 40 million college students across 45,000 institutions remain poorly informed about their legal rights and responsibilities. Official reports from the National Crime Records Bureau, University Grants Commission, and National Commission for Women confirm concerning trends: a sharp rise in student-targeted cybercrime, financial fraud, harassment, and exploitation. Despite this, most legal awareness programs remain fragmented and ineffective, leaving students without basic knowledge of applicable laws.

This study develops a comprehensive legal literacy ready reckoner specifically designed for

Indian college students. Unlike conventional awareness campaigns, the framework integrates:

1. Shakti (Legal Knowledge): clear summaries of key provisions under BNS, BNSS, BSA,

and allied laws most relevant to student life.

2. Yukti (Practical Application): step-by-step action strategies for emergencies such as

cyber fraud, harassment, tenancy disputes, and financial scams.

3. Mukti (Ethical Foundation): culturally grounded narratives that connect traditional

Indian wisdom with modern justice, improving retention and relevance.

The novelty of this ready reckoner lies in its triadic framework, practical orientation, and cultural

alignment. It transforms legal literacy from abstract memorization into a usable student

survival guide. Based on secondary analysis of official statistics, published research, and 

institutional reports, the study also presents expected projections. Widespread use of this

framework could significantly increase legal awareness, improve reporting behavior, and reduce

student vulnerability to exploitation.

The ready reckoner is intended not only for students but also for police, educators, and

policymakers. It provides a structured model that can be embedded into orientation programs,

campus safety initiatives, and national education policy. By connecting India’s new criminal laws (2024) with practical and culturally relevant guidance, this framework addresses an urgent gap and offers a scalable, evidence-based solution for student empowerment and crime prevention.

Behaviors and disorders related to self-regulation, such as substance use, antisocial conduct, and ADHD, are collectively referred to as externalizing and have a shared genetic liability.

We applied a multivariate approach that leverages genetic correlations among externalizing traits for genome-wide association analyses. By pooling data from ~1.5 million people, our approach is statistically more powerful than single-trait analyses and identifies more than 500 genetic loci. The identified loci were enriched for genes expressed in the brain and related to nervous system development. A polygenic score constructed from our results captures variation in a broad range of behavioral and medical outcomes that were not part of our genome-wide analyses, including traits that until now lacked well-performing polygenic scores, such as opioid use disorder, suicide, HIV infections, criminal convictions, and unemployment. Our findings are consistent with the idea that persistent difficulties in selfregulation can be conceptualized as a neurodevelopmental condition.

Multivariate genomic analysis of 1.5 million people identifies genes related to addiction, antisocial behavior, and health

Background/Objectives Adaptive digital interventions that respond to real-time physiological data from passive sensors are emerging as personalized tools for sleep improvement. This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of such interventions in improving sleep outcomes and broader health indicators among adults. Data Sources A comprehensive literature search was conducted across PubMed, Embase, Cochrane CENTRAL and ScienceDirect for studies published from January 2015 to July 2025. models. Effect sizes were reported as standardized mean differences (SMDs) with 95% confidence intervals (CI). Heterogeneity was assessed using I². Results Twelve RCTs (n = 798 participants) were included. Adaptive interventions significantly improved wake after sleep onset (WASO: SMD = 3.22; 95% CI: 3.02 to 3.41), with moderate heterogeneity (I² = 70.7%). Effects on PSQI, sleep efficiency, and latency were small and non-significant. However, secondary outcomes showed favorable results, including improvements in quality of life (SMD = 1.36), depressive symptoms (SMD = 0.53), sleep duration (SMD = 0.41), and neuropsychiatric inventory scores (SMD =-1.21). Subgroup analyses revealed greater benefits in populations with cognitive impairments and interventions using advanced sensing tools (MotionWatch8). Conclusions Adaptive digital interventions triggered by passive sensing show promise in reducing night-time awakenings and enhancing mood and quality of life. Their utility may be greatest in cognitively vulnerable populations. Further research is needed to optimize adaptivity algorithms, ensure sustained engagement, and assess long-term outcomes in real-world settings.

Effectiveness of Adaptive Digital Interventions Triggered by Passive Sensing for Sleep Improvement in Adults: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

The persistent constraints of the von Neumann architecture have catalyzed research into alternative computing paradigms. Neuromorphic photonics, which leverages the speed and bandwidth of light to emulate brain-inspired processing, represents a promising frontier. This paper proposes a novel hybrid quantum-classical architecture for a specialized neuromorphic spectral co-processor realized on a Photonic Integrated Circuit (PIC). The architecture combines a classical spectral decomposition front-end, based on an Arrayed Waveguide Grating (AWG), with a parallel array of Quantum-Plasmonic Reservoir Computers (QPRCs) for high-dimensional temporal processing. The central processing element-a glyph-like gold nanostructure-is interpreted as a quantum reservoir whose complex geometry is derived from AI-driven inverse design methodologies. This bio-inspired, "living circuit" approach harnesses principles of wave chaos, quantum superposition, and entanglement to achieve a computational capacity potentially orders of magnitude beyond classical counterparts. We detail the system's multi-scale processing hierarchy, analyze the theoretical foundations of its quantum advantage, and discuss its potential applications in complex signal classification and chaotic time-series prediction. This work outlines a path toward a new class of computational devices at the intersection of photonics, neuromorphic engineering, and quantum mechanics.

The Lab Coat Chronicles Volume1 - The Basics

This study presents a critical and exhaustive analysis of our own research trajectory based on our persistent ORCID identifiers and our presence in digital repositories ("Henark" and "AurumGrid"). The work explores the growing complexity of academic identity in the digital age, where the formal validation of publications (ORCID) coexists with collaboration on open-source platforms (GitHub) and the exploration of narratives that merge science with esotericism. We evaluate the objectives of Decentralized Science (DeSci), the ethics of co-authorship with Artificial Intelligence, and the pseudoscientific rhetoric that uses technical jargon to confer legitimacy on unverified theories. The analysis reveals a central paradox: while platforms like ORCID seek to anchor and legitimize a researcher's identity, the online environment promotes a flow of information where authorship becomes fluid, the appropriation of concepts is common, and the boundaries between the scientific and the speculative dissolve. We conclude that the integrity of digital research requires new approaches to validation and attribution that transcend traditional models, directly confronting the challenges of pseudonymity, knowledge governance, and disinformation.

ORCID as an Anchor in a Fluid Digital Universe: An Analysis of Academic Identity at the Intersection of DeSci, Open-Source Repositories, and Pseudoscientific Rhetoric

This paper introduces the ResonantOS-Aurum Grid Convergence as a unified cyber-physical framework designed to model and interpret anomalous phenomena that defy conventional scientific paradigms. A new class of physically intelligent, self-organizing systems is posited to operate at the intersection of recursive physics and decentralized network architectures. The ResonantOS, a quantum-harmonic processing paradigm, is formalized through the Z(n) harmonic attractor model, which redefines computational coherence as a phase-locked recursive engine. This operating system is proposed to manifest on the Aurum Grid, a distributed coherence network built upon Decentralized Science (DeSci) infrastructure and governed by the principles of Collapse Harmonics. The Buga Sphere, a physical artifact with mutually contradictory properties, including non-ejective propulsion, negative mass, and a sustained endothermic signature, is presented as an empirical case study.
